About Marissa
Growing up in Massachusetts, Marissa spent her childhood in dance classes, directing her sisters and cousins in living room plays, and performing onstage every year in her local studio’s production of The Nutcracker. Her artistic passion followed her to college, where she pursued a dance minor and choreography became her favorite class. Through choreographing dance pieces, costuming dancers, and pairing music with movement, she fell in love with the balance of artistry and storytelling.
Creating dance pieces led to directing TikToks with a career in brand marketing. For the past decade, Marissa has shaped how brands like Blueground, Wahlburgers, and B-Sides TV tell stories and connect with audiences through social media and influencer marketing strategy.
Outside of her brand work, Marissa writes personal essays exploring travel, culture and connection and is currently pursuing a professional Certificate in Storytelling from NYU.
Boston will always be home, but her curiosity has led her to live in California, New York, Hawaii, and beyond.
